FAQs

v      Do you allow pets?

Ø       We do allow pets in the campground, although we do not allow pets in the cabin or B&B rooms.  Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and we ask that you be respectful to your neighbors and clean up after your pets.

 

v      Do you have public phones?

Ø       Yes.  We have a pay phone outside of our main lodge.

 

v      When is checkout time?

Ø       Checkout time is at noon. That includes the campground, as well as the cabin and B&B rooms. Special arrangements regarding late checkouts can be made through the campground managers.

 

v      Do you allow more than one tent per site?

Ø       We allow up to two tents per site without an additional charge.  More than two tents per site requires an extra tent site, which is $15/night. 

 

v      Is there an ATM located on-site?

Ø       We do not have an ATM machine on our premises, but you can find an ATM at Wildman's Grocery & Liquor, and at Gwin's Tackle Shop in Cooper Landing.

 

v      What dates are you open?

Ø       Kenai Riverside Campground is open late May through September. Please call for date-specific details.

 

v      What activities are offered in the area?

Ø       Cooper Landing is the epicenter for fishing and rafting on the Kenai River.  Ask us about discounts on guided rafting and fishing.  Visit the Cooper Landing Historical Society Museum located at Milepost 48.7 Cooper Landing. v      What are the hours for your guest lounge and showers?

Ø       The guest lounge and showers are both located in the main lodge.  The hours for the main lodge are 7am to 9pm.

 

v      What is your cancellation policy?

Ø       Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to departure will be fully refunded. Cancellations 7 days to 48 hours prior to departure will be subject to 50% charge. No refunds on cancellations within 48 hours of departure. No refunds for non-appearance without notification. No refunds for inclement weather.

 

v      Do you offer group rates?

Ø       Group rates are case-specific.  Please call one of our friendly reservation specialists for details.

 

v      Do you offer weekly/monthly rates?

Ø       We do offer weekly & monthly rates.  Please call for details.

 

v      Do you have a general store on-site?

Ø       We do not have a general store on-site, although Wildman's Grocery & Liquor is located just down the road.

 

v      Are Laundry Facilities located on-site?

Ø       Although we do not offer laundry services, Wildman's Grocery and Liquor has a Laundromat available. They are located just down the road from us, at Milepost 47.5 in Cooper Landing.
